Plain-English disclosure

Some links may eventually be affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, Coastal Clues may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Every such link must have a nearby label; a general footer notice is not enough.

Current status

Coastal Clues has no live affiliate links. Recommendations are editorial and no fabricated prices, ratings, discounts or availability claims are published.

Editorial independence

Commercial relationships do not buy favourable coverage or location verification. Useful planning information comes before any offer, and ordinary episode and character pages remain lightly commercial.

What visitors will see

Every live commercial link will be labelled “Ad — affiliate link” before the visitor reaches it. Gifted visits, discounts, paid placements and sponsorships will be identified in equally plain language.

Prices, reviews and bookings

Prices and availability can change and must be checked with the provider. We will not conceal incentivised reviews, fabricate ratings, suppress relevant negatives or present a commercial arrangement as an independent customer review. Purchases and cancellations are governed by the provider’s terms.

Cookies and measurement

No non-essential affiliate or advertising technology may load before valid consent. Rejecting optional cookies must remain as easy as accepting them, and declining consent must not remove access to editorial pages.

Technical handling

When activated, affiliate links open safely in a new tab and use sponsored, nofollow, noopener and noreferrer attributes where appropriate. Links are managed centrally, checked for expiry and can be globally disabled.
