Report an issue
Send the page URL, disputed statement and supporting source through the feedback page.
Review
Editorial staff should check the original source, page history and any newer authoritative record.
Correction note
Material corrections should update the page date and add a concise note explaining what changed. Minor spelling or formatting fixes need not carry a public notice.
No quiet laundering
A rumour is not silently rewritten as a fact. Status changes should be visible when they materially affect the meaning.
