Margo’s story so far

Character arc, Series 1–4 (no case solutions)

Margo runs the office side of Shipton Abbott police station. She is fiercely organised, has a strong grip on local gossip and folklore, and is quietly indispensable to every investigation. In Series 2 she gets out of the office when her amateur dramatics society is caught up in a murder on a steam train, and a later case touches her own past, as she was once married to the brother of a figure in it. She backs Kelby when he needs it, goes undercover in Series 4, and helps Anne and Martha save the station's future in the Series 4 finale.
